It is a decent enough cleaner for eye brushes and smaller contour tools. The water turns murky instantly so you know it is working. However, if you have a massive thick powder brush it takes a couple of cycles to get it properly clean right down to the base of the bristles. I still have to work the cleanser in by hand for my really heavy duty brushes. Still saves me time overall though.
I genuinely despise washing my brushes, it is always such a faff. Bought this on a whim and I am honestly quite chuffed with it. You just plug it in, add some warm water and a bit of baby shampoo, and it actually gets all the stubborn foundation out of my dense buffing brushes. The drying rack lid is brilliant too. Saves me leaving them all over the radiator on a towel like I normally do.
I realised I was getting spots on my chin because I wasn't washing my brushes anywhere near often enough. This little gadget has completely sorted that out. It takes literally minutes to do a whole batch. The fact that it doubles up as a dust proof storage box is a massive bonus as my flat gets quite dusty. Highly recommend if you want to keep things sterile without the hassle of scrubbing at the sink.
Does exactly what it says on the tin. The sonic vibration is surprisingly powerful and lifts dark eyeshadow pigments in seconds. My only real complaint is that the USB cable is a little on the short side, so I have to use an extension lead to plug it in at my dressing table. Otherwise, it is a cracking little machine and my brushes feel incredibly soft afterwards.
